Joyce Maysura

Joyce Marie Maysura, age 75 of Davison, went to be with the Lord, with her family by her side, on November 25, 2022. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 PM Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (7296 Gale Road, Grand Blanc, 48439). The family will receive guests at the church from 11 AM Monday until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joyce to Catholic Outreach, 509 N. Grand Traverse, Flint, Michigan 48503 or the Humane Society of Genesee County. Joyce was born on May 26, 1947 in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late Theodore and Esther (Papciak) Pakulski. She graduated from Hamtramck High School and married Vincent Maysura on July 18, 1970. Joyce worked as a Sales Auditor at Crowley & Milner in Detroit, as an Aid in the DeWitt Public School System, and at the St Vincent DePaul Intergenerational Center. Joyce enjoyed being a mom and attending her boys sporting events and was "a kind soul that never met a stranger". She is survived by her husband of 52 years; Vincent. Sons; Derek (Nicole) of DeWitt, Michigan, Scott (Christine) of Albuquerque, NM and Paul from Atlanta, Georgia. Her beloved grandson; Gabriel. Sister; Carol Ann (John) Orton of Shallotte, NC. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
