MATTE, Joyce - Age 93 of Fenton, died October 22, 2015. Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, November 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association and Hometown Hospice. Joyce was born December 26, 1921 in Pennington Gap, VA, the daughter of Wesly and Margaret Weatherly. Joyce was a graduate of Wayne State University and was a teacher for Lakeview Public Schools. She is survived by her children, Donna Coller and Edward A. Matte; grandchildren, Wesley Coller, Becky Matte-Schreiber, Donald Robert Matte, Kim Matte-Keil; six great-grandchildren and a great great-grandchild; brother, Richard Weatherly.
