Joyce S. LAUGHLIN

LAUGHLIN, Joyce Sue - Age 74, of Flint, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, with Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Joyce S. Laughlin Memorial Fund. Joyce was born March 13, 1937 in Snowflake, VA, the daughter of John and Nell (Henry) Stapleton. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are: 4 daughters, Janet and husband Bradley House of Flint, Jackie and husband Ronald Weyandt of Grand Blanc, Lisa Laughlin of Flint and Victoria Laughlin of Cape Coral, FL; 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; 2 sisters, Judy Haney of Fresno, CA and Joan Stapleton of Brooksville, FL; brother, J.W. Stapleton of Kingsport, TN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Laughlin and 4 daughters, Deborah Laughlin, Teresa Reardon, Fredrica Laughlin and Ethel Janelle Laughlin.
