EARL, Joyce Elaine - age 78, of Linden, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Pastor Jack McMaster officiating. Visitation will be Friday 5:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Joyce was born June 18, 1933 in Genesee County the daughter of the late Claude A. and Anna R. (Seldon) Mundy. She graduated from Linden High School and had been a lifelong resident of Linden. Surviving are her two children, Duane Earl (Betty) of Arkansas, Denise Alexander (Jim) of Grand Blanc; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Edna Wentzel of Flint and Earleen Blanchard (Basil) of Ohio; brother, Gordon Mundy (Dorothy)of Swartz Creek; close friend, Rhonda Hernandez and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 infant children, Marsha and Rodney Earl; and 5 siblings, Harold, Kenneth, Thelma, Mildred and Norma.
