Joyce Berry

Berry, Joyce L. Loving mother, wife and grandmother passed away on Jan 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Sunday January 29th at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Funeral to immediately follow at Noon. At a later date a Celebration of life will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan, where she, along with husband Bert will be interred together. Joyce was born July 5th 1931 to Carl and Bertha Entrekin. Joyce was a life long resident of Flint and Lennon. After graduating from Flint Tech, where she was elected prom queen, she started her life journey with husband Bert Berry. They were married for 62 years until his death in 2014. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family, painting, playing piano, quilting, sailing and selling Avon where she won multiple Albee awards for outstanding sales and leadership achievements before becoming a district manager. She also was the coach of her church's softball team. Joyce is survived by her 3 Children Dennis(Tracey) Berry, David Berry and Nancy (Mark) Hall. 6 Grandchildren, Christine Rose, Alyssa (Lance) Campbell, Ricky Rose, Jeffrey (Adrienne) Berry, Jeremy (Alicia) Hall and Nikki Hall. 7 Great grandchildren, Liam, Lizzie, Ellie and Xander (Campbell) Treyton (Rose) Charlotte and Lilly (Hall).
