Joyce Austin

In loving memory of Joyce Marie Austin, her family is saddened to announce her passing on May 12, 2023 at age 85. Joyce was a kind and loving soul. She was born September 30, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of Eugene and Leona (Cook) Chandler. She married William Austin, who adored her, on February 11, 1961 in Flint; later residing in Davison and Fenton. After 58 years of marriage in 2019, William preceded her in death. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children Mark Patterson, William E. Austin, Diana (Brad) Fritcher and Richard Austin; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be held 1pm Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Visitation will be held from 11:00am - 12:30pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to Alzheimer’s Association.
