DAGENAIS, Joy Lee (Hammel) - Age 48, of Clio, died Thursday, April 28, 2016. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, May 2, 2016 at Linden Free Methodist Church, 13274 Linden Road, Linden. Pastor Bill Moull officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Sunday from 2-8 PM and at church Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Joy was born December 25, 1967 in South Korea the daughter of Max and Linda (Taylor) Hammel. She was a 1985 graduate of Clio High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Joy had resided in Clio for most of her life. She was employed by Women's Integrated Health Center in Grand Blanc as a receptionist. Joy was a member of Linden Free Methodist Church and enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her church family. Surviving are: 3 children, Britny Raser of San Diego, CA, Spencer Dagenais of Plainwell, and Taylor Dagenais of Clio; parents, Max and Linda Hammel of Clio; sister, Rima and husband Mark Tremlett of England; brothers, Kurt and wife Jeani Hammel of Swartz Creek and John Hammel of East Lansing; and several nieces and nephews.
