Joventino "Tino" Moreno

MORENO, Joventino 'Tino', age 51, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 12PM Friday, February 13, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Fr. Robert F. Copeland officiating. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will be 11AM - 8PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Joventino was born in Flint on July 11, 1957 the son of the late Alberto and Betty (Soto) Moreno and was a resident of Flint all his life. Tino lived life to the fullest and affected many people with his music. He was a Golden Gloves Champion and excelled as an artist and painter. Tino retired from GM Truck and Bus after 21 years of service and was a member of UAW Local #598. Surviving are 2 sons, Joven and Jovantino; brothers, Alberto Jr. (Sandy) of Arizona, Mark (Polly), Fidel (Nancy) and Ricky; sisters, Rosie (Joe) Jacobs, Raynee (Larry) Birmingham, Judy (Tom) Elkins; special Friend, Joe (Eva) Roach; many nieces and nephews.
