Josey Gale

Gale, Josey Kayanne - Age 28, of Vassar, departed August 24, 2020.

Josey was born September 7, 1991 in Flint. She married Matthew Gale on July 31, 2015.

Family was the most important thing in this world for Josey... and that did not stop at biological ties. Her non-judgmental, unconditional love extended to everyone she met. She wove a vast tapestry of bonds during her time with us that has created a family out of relatives, friends and strangers; all connected by her love and loss. She loved the beach, the river and the summer sun, she loved her country town and it’s wide open skies, she played barefoot in the dirt with her children and taught them to forage for wild mushrooms and asparagus. She was wild, she was free, she was caring and sincere. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many. Heaven has gained the brightest light.
Josey is survived by her husband, Matthew; children, Alivia, Alexander, Alaira; grandmother, Evelyn (Annie) Tereau; sister, Liza Renee, Gena, and Brandi Bennett; and many more dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Sharon Baldwin; fathers, Clark Roy Parrish, Victor J. Bennett; mother, Yvonne Renee DeWolf; brother, Jake Roy Parrish.
