BROWN, (Homola) Josephine A. - Age 93, of Toledo, Ohio formerly of Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday August 24, 2018. at Promedica Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. A private service will be held. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to Promedica Hospice of Sylvania, OH. or The American Cancer Society. Josephine was born on July 10, 1925 in Hamtramck, MI to Mary and John Homola. She enjoyed gardening, reading, the Detroit Tigers, bowling, golf, and most of all family. She was preceded in death by husband Dick Brown; grandson, Jake Brown; her parents; brother, Johnny Homola; along with many other friends and family. She is survived by her 3 sons, David of NYC, Dennis (Julie) of Swanton, OH., Greg (Nancy) of Ft, Wayne, IN.; 2 grandsons, Derek (Melissa and family) of Midland, Mi., Denny (Joelle) of Petoskey, Mi.
