VESELSKY, Joseph F. "Dozer Joe" -- Age 68, of Lennon, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday, December 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek with Pastor Steve Bentley officiating. Visitation will be held 12 Noon until the time of service at 3 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of one's choice. Joe was born November 9, 1943 in Owosso, the son of Joseph and Helen (Kunc)Veselsky. He graduated from Gaines High School in 1961. He married Fern Zimmerman on September 10, 1988. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Joe was a truck driver for Complete Auto Transit, then he owned and operated Joe's bulldozing and Quality Drive Away, hauling travel trailers across country. He enjoyed model railroading. He is survived by wife, Fern; children, Kathleen Goodwin of Durand, Amy (Jeff) Weaver of Battle Creek, Joanne Veselsky of Cottonwood Hights, UT; step-children, Lou Ellen (Charles) Kirchner of Clawson, Lawrence Zimmerman of Durand, Donna Krenzke of Merrill, Matthew (Marti) Berlin of Levering, Elizabeth Berlin of Phenix City, AL, Curtis (Emily) Berlin of Brighton, Megan Hughes of Byron; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Lee (Lonnie) Boggs of Durand; nephew, Brian Boggs of Durand.
