SNYDER, Joseph Hilary - age 47, of Davison, died Friday, May 28, 2010. Services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 12-8 PM Tuesday and 11 AM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Wounded Warriors Fund. Joe was born June 30, 1962 in Flint, the son of Hilary and Barbara (Slater) Snyder and was a graduate of Flushing High School. He is married to Shelly Kay Snyder. Joe was a member of the Teamsters and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, shooting, fishing and wildlife. He had an interest in music, old war movies and military history. Joe enjoyed spending time with family and his dog, TJ. Surviving are: wife, Shelly Kay Snyder of Davison, son, Trevor Snyder of the U.S. Air Force, parents, Hilary and Barbara Snyder, two sisters, Teresa Potvin of Swartz Creek, Denise (Michael) Markowiak of Temperance, MI, brother, Philip (Karry) Snyder of Flint, sister-in-law, Lisa Marie Denike, two nephews, Jacob and Colby Norman, two nieces, Haley and Megan Snyder, great-niece, Lillian Norman.
