Joseph Scholl Jr.

SCHOLL, Joseph Gilbert Jr. - Age 87, of Flint, died Sunday February 20, 2022. Funeral services will be held 12PM Friday February 25, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Aaron Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4PM-8PM Thursday and 11AM until time of service on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Joseph was born April 16, 1934 in Pennsylvania, the son of  Joseph Gilbert and Margaret (Watson) Scholl.  He retired from General Motors  with 39 years of service. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, and going to his cabin in West Branch. Surviving are: sons, Joseph Scholl III, James Scholl; daughter, Diana (John) Sharrow; daughter-in-law, Becky Scholl; Many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved all of them so very much. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Rogers of PA; sisters-in-law, Betty Granger and Delores Bowen along with many nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Patricia; his son Jeff Scholl; parents; sisters, Valgene, Sandy and brother, Bob. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
