Joseph Robinson

Joseph Edward Robinson, age 88 of Otisville, passed away on January 20, 2023.  A funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan.  Visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2023 at the funeral home and from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).

He is survived by his children, Rob (Andrea) Robinson of Otisville; Rick (Cheryl) Robinson of Grand Blanc; Randy Robinson of Denver, CO; Kimberely of Springhill, TN and Desiree' Robinson of Paragould, AR.  Step-children, Sana (Don) Thomas of Atlanta, GA and Chris (Gina) Schmalhorst of Lebanon, MO.  Many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family also survived by  sister, Wilma Horne of Paragould, AR.

Joseph was born on March 3, 1934 in Goobertown, Arkansas to the late Gilbert and Lennie Ethel (Davenport) Robinson.  He worked as a Millwright at General Motors Metal Fab and retired after 42 years of dedication.  He was a member of the Elks, Moose and Masonic Lodge.  Joseph  was a great gardener who enjoyed snowmobiling, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and NASCAR.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Jo; son, Robert J. "Bobby" Robinson; siblings, Jay, John, Jack, Jimmy, Wava and Wanda.
