REYNOLDS, Joseph Doyle - Age 83, of Fenton, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor Thomas Knight officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service. An O.E.S. Memorial Service will be held 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home, immediately followed by a Masonic Memorial Service. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice Care Center, 7280 S. State Road, Goodrich, MI 48438. Mr. Reynolds was born October 8, 1926 in Rector, AR, the son of James Floyd and Pansy (Riddle) Reynolds. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He married Cedah Lanell Smith October 23, 1947. Mr. Reynolds retired in 1981 from Buick after 33 years. He was a member of the Fenton Masonic Lodge #109 F.&A.M., Fenton O.E.S. #248, Bay City Consistory, Elf Khurafeh Shrine and was a charter member of Motor City High Twelve. Surviving are: wife Cedah; 8 children, Richard and wife Dianne Reynolds of Durand, Linda and husband Ralph Johnson of Flushing, Joseph and wife Linda Reynolds of Flushing, James and wife Deborah Reynolds of Linden, Janice and husband William Athey of Swartz Creek, Steven and wife Kendra Reynolds of Birch Run, Katherine and husband Jeff Klein of Colorado and Christopher Reynolds of Linden; 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, James Reynolds of Flint, Orley Reynolds of Ortonville and Raymond Reynolds of Clio; 2 sisters, Grace Skeel of Central Lake and Gladys and husband Rick Wiltse of Gaines; sister-in-law, Beth Reynolds of Columbiaville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth Reynolds; 2 grandchildren, Adrienne and Matthew; son-in-law, Frederick DePlanty; brother, Alvin Reynolds.
