Joseph Steven Pizik

Joe Pizik, a beloved husband, father, brother, and entrepreneur, passed away January 8th, 2025. Born in Detroit in 1951, Joe spent his life building a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to his family and community.

Joe was married to the love of his life, Elizabeth (Libby), until her passing in January 2024. A longtime resident of Troy and Fenton, Michigan, Joe cherished his life in these communities.

He is survived by his two children, daughter Kelly and son Joseph, who were his greatest pride and joy. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Joseph. He is also survived by his sisters, Chris, Nancy, and Mary, as well as his many adored in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Joe was the founder and longtime owner of Joe Pizik Electric, a family business based in Troy, Michigan. He and Libby built the business together, making it a cornerstone of their family's success. Joe ran the company with passion and pride until stepping back a few years ago, leaving behind a thriving legacy that continues to touch countless lives.

Joe’s kindness, determination, and love for his family made him a role model and a friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he enriched.

A memorial service will be held 1PM Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. The family will receive friends from 11AM until the time of service.
