Joseph Stan Lester

Joseph Stan Lester, Age 79, of Grand Blanc, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at his home. Private arrangements were entrusted to Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. 

Joseph was born on December 30, 1944 in Detroit the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Ziviski) Lester. He graduated from Flint Southwestern. Joseph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1962 until his honorable discharge in 1965. He worked for GM Buick City for 27 years before his retirement in 2006. Joseph was united in marriage to Robin Mertz on August 9, 2006. In his free time, Joseph like playing and watching golfing, football, poker, and pool. 

He is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Tim Lester, Amy (Jeff) Lester Keating and Joe Lester; stepdaughter, Autumn Phelps; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
