Gadany, Joseph John - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died suddenly at Pocono Medical Center, Pennsylvania. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, October 14 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 7563 Mary Street, Swartz Creek with Father Amos Wischmeyer celebrating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 12-4 and 5-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Mr Gadany was born January 15, 1922 in Flint, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Salley) Gadany. He was a 1942 graduate of Flint Central High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946 as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was married to Margaret G. Konsza on June 26, 1946 and she preceded him in death in 2002. He was employed by Buick as a machine repairman, where he retired in 1983 after 42 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. He loved Buick cars and Airplanes. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Carol and husband Gary Clase of Burton; granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Mike Petrach of Port Huron; great-grandson, Joseph Michael Petrach of Port Huron; sister, Betty Mironik of FL; sister-in-law, Bea Konsza of Clio; several nieces and nephews; Special friend, LaDora Bolcar. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents.
