Joseph Filka

FILKA, Joseph Andrew- age 93 of Holly, formerly of Waterford, passed away peacefully in his sleep, June 21, 2019. Per Joseph's wishes Cremation Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Joe's final resting place will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice in his memory.  Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Joseph married his devoted wife Beverly J. Kansier in Detroit on November 9, 1946. Surviving are: his wife of 72 years, Beverly; daughter, Judy (Steve Breuer); daughter-in-law, Mary Anne Filka, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
