Joseph William "Bill" Dolliver

DOLLIVER, Joseph William "Bill" - Age 77, of Linden, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Monday, December 16, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and will be available below Bill's obituary here on this page). Pastor Peter Ahlersmeyer officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM Monday until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. 

Bill was born October 1, 1947 in Flint, the son of Nolan Joseph and Dorothy E. (Dunk) Dolliver. He was a 1966 graduate of Fenton High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He married Deborah Ann Glowacki November 7, 1969 in Pinckney. He retired from Edward C. Levy Company in Dearborn as a heavy equipment operator. Bill was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton. He also was a member of the Operating Engineers #324 and Genesys Health Club. He enjoyed racquetball, pickleball, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, he loved his Ford Raptor and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

Surviving are: his wife of 55 years, Deborah; son, Jason (Melissa) Dolliver of Fenton; daughter, Jill Hatfield of Flint; grandchildren, Chloe and Casey Hatfield and Abigail and Addison Dolliver; siblings, Charles (Vicky) Dolliver of Linden, David (Cindy) Dolliver of Pinconning, Debora (Brent) Lavanaway of Fenton and Ann (Mike) Dimmer of Calumet; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Dorothy Dolliver; and sisters, Sharon Cowell and Sandra Bucknam. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
