Joseph E. COUTURE

Couture, Joseph, E., age 81, of Lennon, passed away Saturday, February, 26, 2011. Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2001 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 2-8 PM. Joseph was born in Flint the son of Frank and Lena (Reanuld) Couture. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Mt. Morris, member of UAW Local 659, VFW of Owosso, MichiWanders Travel Trailer Club of Fint, and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He married Emily Land in 1955 and she preceded him in death in 1991. Joseph retired from Chevorlet Metal Fab in 1987 after 31 years of service. Survivors include nephew Jim Hetherington and wife Darlene of Flint, sisters, Elda Wheeler, Connie Nicklas of Vandervilt, MI, Janet Fifield of West Branch, MI, brother, Roger Couture, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
