Â Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Â Fr. David Harvey officiating. Â Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Â Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 7-9PM Monday,1-4 and 6-9PM Tuesday, and 10AM until time of service Wednesday at the church. Â Those desiring may make contributions to the Joseph D. Brasher Memorial Fund. Â Joseph was born January 21, 1956 in Flint, the son of William L. and WonDo (Lee) Brasher. Â He had resided in Fenton the past 4 years, coming from Davison. Â He married Mary Theresa Genovesi September 25, 1982 in Flint. Â He owned and operated Wolverine Turf Development. Â He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, friend and was an avid outdoorsman. Â Surviving are: wife Mary Theresa; daughter, Katie Lin; father, William Brasher; 2 sisters, Terri and husband George Koyl of Columbiaville, Sally Brasher of Flint; 3 nephews, Jason, David and Jon; niece, Rachel; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Barbara Genovesi of Swartz Creek; many other relatives and friends; his best friend, his dog, Major.
