Joseph Aumiller, Jr.

AUMILLER, Joseph Francis, Jr. - age 84, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018. A memorial mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. The family will receive friends from 3 PM - 8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 9 AM - 10 AM Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice or to St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church. Joseph was born June 22, 1934 in West Albany, NY, the son of Joseph F. and Florence Marian (Janezenski) Aumiller. He married Kathleen Ann McGinnis on September 3, 1955. Joseph retired from General Motors after 38 years of service. He was a Little League Coach and a hardworking and devoted man, husband, and father. Surviving are: wife, Kathleen of Fenton; son, Joseph (Dawn) Aumiller III of Canton; two daughters, Nancy (Kenneth) Urban of Holland; and Susan Carlson of Fenton; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Adrian (Elaine) Aumiller of Westland.
