Jonathan Alan Kallas

KALLAS, Jonathan Alan  age 21, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 5, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Ben Parker officiating. Interment will be held at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Thursday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Jonathan Alan Kallas Memorial Fund. Jonathan was born March 13, 1983 in Flint, the son of Alan D. and Diane C. (Lorkowski) Kallas and had resided in Swartz Creek most of his life. He married Julie Ann Harrison on June 30, 2001 in Lennon, MI. Jonathan worked with his father in the family business Al Kallas Heating and Cooling in Swartz Creek. He was a 2000 graduate of Swartz Creek. Jonathan was a member of the Durand Sportsman Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed surfing, but most of all he enjoyed his family. Surviving are: wife, Julie Ann; daughter, Hailey Ann; parents, Alan and Diane Kallas of Swartz Creek; sister, Jennifer Kallas of Flint Township; parents-in-law, Gary and Sharon Harrison of Lennon; grandmother, Lillian Kallas of Flint; grandmother, Genevieve and husband, Frank Demarco of Highland; grandfather, Bruno Lorkowski and wife, Connie of Georgia; sister-in-law, Sherry Harrison of Lennon; three uncles, Greg Lorkowski of Grand Blanc, George Kallas and wife, Kathy of Illinois, Robert Lorkowski of Flint; many cousins and other relatives.
