MANSFIELD, Johnny Dean "John" - age 75, of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021.  Committal Service with Army Honors 1PM Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. John was born on November 14, 1945 in Flint, the son of James and Loveda Mansfield. He served our great country as a Sergeant in the Army for 3 years during the Vietnam war. John worked for General Motors as a general foreman and for Flint Welding Supply. He owned and operated Spring Crest Drapery in Flint for over forty years. John married Susan R. Maes on June 2, 1991 in Flint. He enjoyed cooking and home improvement projects. John was a Jack of all trades. He had an incredible sense of humor. John was also an encourager and a great mentor. Surviving are: wife, Susan; children, Kristen Ramkissoon, Ryan Mansfield, Jaime Kaatz, Jeanne (Ronald) Newton; grandchildren, Toryn, Caiden, Maya, Kai, Haley, Kasey, Mackinzie, Caitlin; nephew, Scott Bearup; niece, Pam Lebowitz; several great nieces and nephews; and beloved pets, Teddy and Abby.
