Johnny Andrew Brady graced us with his presence on October 21, 1943 and left this earth fighting like a warrior on October 12, 2022. He was born in Macon GA, the son of Johnnie Normie Brady and Ollie Belle (Martin). Johnny married his devoted wife and best friend Goldie (Walters) on October 24, 1992. After retiring from General Motors, he spent much of his time fishing and relaxing at his property in the Upper Peninsula and hunting out West with his best friends and beloved dogs. Johnny was creative and talented and could build and fix anything. He enjoyed woodworking and built beautiful furniture and wooden rocking horses for Toys for Tots. He was a voracious reader and knew a little bit about everything - all you had to do was ask him! Johnny’s proudest achievements were his four daughters. He was fiercely protective of the people he loved, right till the end. Johnny was passionate about everything, especially his family. He made sure they knew how much he loved them every time he saw them. Johnny was charismatic to a fault, funny, witty, sarcastic, cantankerous, too honest at times, a good friend, but more than anything he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. This world will never be the same without him.
Johnny is survived by his wife of of nearly 30 years Goldie, daughters, Lynette (Phil) Cook of Grand Blanc, Kellie Tuohy (Bryan Hobson) of Flint, Robin (Jeff) Rouse of Grand Blanc, Stacey Hudspeth of Grand Blanc, 10 grandchildren, Nick (Casey) Cook, Chad Cook, Luke Cook, Jourdan (Bill) Pauley, Connor Tuohy, Kenedy Rouse, Kamryn Rouse, Kayden Rouse, Londan Hudspeth (Baha Almufti), Simonne Hudspeth (Alan Mulholland); 8 great-grandchildren, special nephews Michael (Dina) Simpson, Chris (Tiffany) Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon Simpson.
