York, Johnnie "Celeste" - Age 81, of Flint, died November 2, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 6 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Monday, 10 -11 AM Tuesday. Johnnie Celeste was born August 6, 1937 in Cardwell, Missouri. She had enjoyed quilting and gardening. Surviving are: three children, Tamey (David) Plewes of Grand Blanc, John (Floydean) York of Swartz Creek, Carma (Randy) Mainer of Grand Blanc; two step-children, Steve (Nancy) York of Clarkston, Barth (Jeana) York of Goodrich; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Leo E. York on April 28, 2009. Special thanks to caregivers, Gloria, Sandy, Sahara, Sonja, and Cricket.
