Johnnie Allen Hill – our teacher, mentor, friend and Papa Bear – has returned to his heavenly home on 11/3/21.
Son of Otis and Lillie Faye, brother to James, Ray (d), Danny, Mary (d), and Betty. John was a loving husband of Patricia’s for 60 years. A devoted father to Mark (Alison), Kevin (Amy), Robin (Jeff) and Wendy (Rich). If you knew John, you knew his grandchildren were the light of his life; Melanie, Mackenzie, Brandon, Cuyler, Alexis, Erika, Chloe, Dalton and Sophia. The newest sparkles in his eyes were the addition of two great-granddaughters this past year, Lyla and Hattie.
When forced by a time like this, to adequately describe the man that John was and what he meant to our family, how do you describe our ‘everything’? There are no words for the warmest of smiles and the best bear hugs a person could give. Our great comfort during this time is the undeniable truth that John was welcomed home by Jesus and that his body and mind are whole again. We will, one day, see John (Dad, Papa) again – we await our bear hugs!
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” ~John 11:25 In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
