John "Jack" Eisele

John "Jack" E. Eisele, age 87, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, starting at 4PM until 8PM with a Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at 7PM at SHARP FUNERAL HOME, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. Visitation will resume on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 10AM until the Funeral Mass at 11AM at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road in Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery at Mt. Morris St. Mary's at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations in John's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Jack was born on December 13, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan to the late Earle (Margaret) Eisele. He graduated class of 1954 from Mt. Morris St. Mary's and was a member of St. Mary's Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. Jack had a long career at the Flint Post Office; retiring in December of 1990. He continued to keep himself busy after retirement with several part-time jobs. He was liked by all his co-workers and made these jobs fun for everyone. Jack enjoyed his golfing but most of all he was an avid bowler. He was inducted to the Greater Flint Area Bowling Hall of Fame in 2013. He loved all his bowling buddies and considered them life-long friends. Part of his busy life included a monthly trip to Soaring Eagle with his wife, Bonnie. Neighbors will forever remember him for his diligence for keeping an impeccable lawn.

Jack will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Bonnie, of 48 years of marriage; sons Christopher; Andrew and Patrick; stepson, David (Tina) Moore; granddaughter, Krista Moore-Justiniano and husband Henry. He is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his sister Margaret; sons Joseph, Thomas and Timothy and half-brother, Earle.
