WILSON, John Richard "Jack" - Age 80, of Flint, died Friday, November 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association. Jack was born August 9, 1937 in Flint, the son of John and Alice (Dewey) Wilson. He was a 1955 graduate of Flint Northern High School. He retired in 1986 from GM Chevrolet after 31 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 659. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and most of all spending time at his summer home on Lake Nepessing in Lapeer. Surviving are: his life partner, Margaret Gurzick-Wilson of Flint; 3 children, Robert Wilson of South Carolina, Daniel Wilson of Harrison, and Koreen (Charles) Matthews of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Wilson of Lake, Karen Wilson of Lake George, and Donavon Wilson of Harrison; 2 great grandsons, Christopher and Lucas Wilson; brother, William Wilson of Clio; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
