WIDIGAN, John F. - Age 84, of Flint and Mesa, AZ, died July 12, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A Masonic memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, July 16, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, under the auspices of Swartz Creek Lodge # 458 F & A.M., followed by a Memorial Service at 5 PM with Rev. Niki Christiansen officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until time of service Sunday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or a Masonic Organization. Mr. Widigan was born October 30, 1921 in Topeka, KS, the son of Archie and Hattie (Belter) Widigan. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was married to Geraldine Brian on June 29, 1945 in Topeka. He had resided in Flint for many years, then Mesa, AZ, for 25 years before recently returning to Flint. He was a mason and member of the 32nd degree Scottish Rite. Mr. Widigan was a Topeka, KS, police officer and retired from General Motors. He is survived by: wife, Geraldine; children; Debbie Campbell, Larry and wife Sharon, Becky and husband Chris Garske; grandchildren, Sara Campbell, Jonathon Campbell and wife Katie, Andrew Garske, Robert Widigan, Zachary Garske, Eli Garske.
