**Please note change in day of service** WHALEY, John Alexander- Age 87, of Lake Fenton and Mundy Township, died Thursday, October 23, 2014. A VFW service will be held 9:00 AM Thursday, October 30 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, under the auspices of Curtis Wolverton Post # 3243. John was born September 7, 1928 in Flint, the son of Clarence J. and Mary Bessie Whaley. He served in the U.S. Navy. John Retired from Delphi (AC Spark Plug) with many years of service in Engineering. He was also very active in the collection of antique automobiles.
