John B. Ward

WARD, John B., age 64, a resident of Chesaning, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 17, 2005 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Rd., Flint.  V. Rev. Fr. Joseph M. Abud officiating.  Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 8:00 PM  Tuesday and Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek., where a Trisagion Service will be held  8:00 PM  Wednesday.  Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. George Orthodox Church or to a fund for Julie and the grandchildren.  Mr. Ward was born on June 7, 1940 in Detroit and was a resident of Flint Twp. for 25 years prior to moving to Chesaning.  He was a member of St. George Orthodox Church and was employed at Snack Time Services for the past 24 years.  He enjoyed his family, eating out and old movies.  Mr. Ward is survived by:  wife Myralla of Chesaning; daughter Julie Ward and Kevin Baetz; grandchildren James Ward, Kevin Baetz, Samantha Baetz; 5 step children; 8 step grandchildren; brothers Jim Ward and wife Delores, Dennis Ward and wife Linda, Mike Ward and wife Deliah; several nieces and nephews.  Friends may share an online condolence or post a tribute for the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
