John Thomas Trickey

TRICKEY, John Thomas - age 62 of Swartz Creek, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2024 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of service.

John was born on March 9, 1962 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota to the late Edward Harold and Margaret Elsie (Herskorn) Trickey. He graduated from Clio High School and after overcoming numerous obstacles, went on to become a successful carpenter working on many projects throughout Oakland and Genesee Counties. John enjoyed camping, riding his dune buggy Up North and throughout Western Michigan and he cherished time spent with his family, grandchildren and friends.

Surviving is his son, Joseph (Anita) Trickey of Davison; grandchildren, Hailey and Gavin; siblings, Joseph (Mary) Trickey, Daniel (Carolyn) Trickey, Lorrena (Keith) Skiba; also surviving are nieces, nephews and many friends.
