STEWART, John Allen Age 77, of Fenton, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at his residence. Services will be held 5 PM Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association. John was born May 25, 1931, the son of James Alfred and Jessie Garnet (Masters) Stewart. Mr. Stewart married Sarah Riley on May 27, 1957 and he retired from General Motors after 30 years as an engineer. Surviving are: wife, Sarah; three sons, John and wife Gay, James and Jack Stewart; two grandchildren, Katherine and Bernadette Stewart.
