John G. Solomon

Solomon, John G.- Age 55, of Flushing; died Wednesday, June 02, 2004 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, June 5, 2004 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint.  Fr. William Bonczewski celebrant.  Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road from 12 Noon until 9PM Friday were an incense service will be held at 7 PM.  In Lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.  John was born April 2, 1949 in Flint, the son of Samuel T. and Mary A. (Abraham) Solomon.  He had resided in Flushing the past 22 years, coming from Flint.  He owned and operated J & R Market.  He was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church and a life member of Amsyrleb Club.  Surviving are:  wife, Ahlam; 2 sons, Ronny and Johnny both of Flushing; 2 brothers, Charles of Gaines and Samuel of Flushing; sister, Diane and husband Aziz Massad of Flint; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Friends may share their online condolences for the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
