John Peter SEDLARIK Jr.

SEDLARIK, John Peter, Jr. - age 63, of Flint, died Monday, December 21, 2009 at his residence. Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service Sunday. John was born January 9, 1946 in Flint, the son of John and Pauline (Hall) Sedlarik. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and retired from Delphi after 28 years of service. John married Debbie Haddix on April 5, 2006. He was an active member of the VFW Chevrolet Post 3087, the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Club. John loved the outdoors, especially fishing on his pontoon boat. Surviving are: wife, Debbie; son, John Sedlarik and wife, Tricia of Swartz Creek; step-children; Chastity (Kevin) Ferguson, Amy Harris, Melissa Harris, Joseph Harris and Rebecca Harris grandchildren, Lexi and Kiley Sedlarik, Allison, Madelyn, Jeremiah, Gracie, Colin, Callie and Breeann; sister, Darlene (Walt) Duvernois of Clio; brother, Frank (Janet) Sedlarik of Florida; aunt, Clarice Sedlarik; many nieces and nephews; many friends.
