John Ross

ROSS, John, age 76, of Corunna, departed this life peacefully at his home on November 17, 2024. A memorial service to honor John's life will be scheduled for a later date. John born on July 7, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Norman Lee and Colleen Mae (Gregory) Ross. He was a proud graduate of Linden High School, Class of 1966. On October 6, 1984, he married the love of his life, Joyce Marie Whaley, in Flint. John dedicated his career to General Motors, where he excelled as a master electrician and was a valued member of U.A.W. Local 598.  John also taught at Mott Community College part-time for over 40 years in the Technology Center. He leaves behind cherished memories as a loving husband to Joyce and devoted father to his three children: Jeremy Allen Ross; Tammy Marie Kielian, of Rochester; and James Richard (Yvette) Bentley, of Flushing. John was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Julianne Marie (Zachary) Lloyd, Emma Elizabeth Bentley, John Bentley Kielian, and Noah James Bentley. Additionally, John is survived by his brother, Gregory Ross (Brian) of Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents.
