PRATT, John Frederick III - age 57, of Harrison Twp, formerly of Fenton, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. John Oakland Hospital. Services will be held11:00 AM Saturday, April 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friend from 9 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. John was born November 10, 1958 in Lincoln Park, MI, the son of John F. and Marilyn (Sweet) Pratt II. He was a 1976 graduate of Lake Fenton High School where he earned Varsity letters in football, baseball and hockey. He was also a graduate of Michigan State University. John had an impeccable work ethic and an infectious passion for sailing. He sailed at the Lake Fenton Sailing club and in the Port Huron to Mackinaw and Chicago to Mackinaw many times. He loved sharing his passion of sailing with others and for many years was a large sailing yacht salesman. Most recently he owned and operated Great Lakes Closet Company. Surviving are: mother, Marilyn Pratt Redmond and step-father, Robert Redmond of Fenton; brother, James (Stephanie) Pratt of Howell; four step-sisters, Phyllis (Randy) Forster of Milford, Jennifer (Darrell) Youngquest of Farmington Hills, Jacqueline (Michael) Walker of London, ON, CA, and Robyn (Brad) Little of Papillion, NE; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Pratt, Andrew (Suzanne), Alicia, and Zachary Little, Kristine, Alyson, and Thomas Walker, and Alexander Stansberry; great-niece, June Little.
