John Ocenasek

OCENASEK, John Frank- Age 72, of Swartz Creek, died Monday February 25, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM March 1 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Father Louis Ekka celebrant. Burial to follow in St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 5PM-8PM Thursday with a 7PM Rosary being prayed at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will also be held 10AM until time of mass on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan School for the Blind. John was born in Flint on February 14, 1947 the son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Peever) Ocenasek. He married Nancy Cimbalik in Swartz Creek on February 11, 1984. John loved music of all kinds and enjoyed playing the guitar and accordion, he also enjoyed going to car shows. Surviving are: wife of 35 years Nancy of Swartz Creek; son, John (Tracy) Ocenasek of Montrose; granddaughters, Natalie and Savannah both of Montrose; siblings, Dave (Diane) Ocenasek of Higgins Lake, Stephanie (Rick) Brown of Fenton, Stephen (Ellen) Ocenasek of Durand, Anthony (Patricia) Ocenasek of Swartz Creek and many nieces and nephews.
