O'DEA, John B. - age 72, of Lennon, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at his residence. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Lori O'Dea officiating. Interment will be held at Leek Cemetery in Mason, MI. Visitation will be held from 3-5 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the New Life Assembly of God Church, 400 W. South Street, Grand Ledge, MI 48837. John was born June 23, 1940 in Pontiac, the son of Nicholas B. and Arby L. (Leipprandt) O'Dea. He was a graduate of Ferris State University and had been a pharmacist at Herrlich's Drugs in Flint, Rite Aid and most recently Walgreens. John enjoyed golf and loved computers and the latest technology. Surviving are: brother, James (Beryl) O'Dea of Oxford, MI; sister, Judy (Tim) Caswell of Mason, MI; niece, Lori O'Dea of Grand Ledge; two nephews, Robert (Amy) O'Dea of Howell, Jeff (Tonya) Caswell of Troy; great-nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Nicholas and Addison O'Dea, Aiden and Emily Caswell.
