MOLYNEAUX, John T., age 55, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Genesys Health Park after living with lung cancer for over five years. Â A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Â Family will receive friends 11 AM Saturday until time of service. Â Â Mr. Molyneaux was born in Pennsylvania moving to Michigan as a teenager. He graduated from Clio High School in 1969 and later received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Â He was an excellent potter having had his work in many art shows and fairs throughout his life time. He also attended the University of Michigan-Flint taking computer courses and took pottery classes at the Flint Institute of Arts. Â Prior to his illness he was employed at Data2 Logistics as a computer programmer. Â John was very involved with his children's sports and loved attending their hockey and soccer games. Â His greatest happiness was his children and their accomplishments. Â He was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings. Â After his diagnosis John and his wife became involved in an online lung cancer support group and helped many individuals dealing with lung cancer. Â Throughout his illness he was supported by many close friends and relatives. Â He showed us what courage is and was positive until the very end. Â He was a wonderful man taken away much too early from those that loved him. Â The family sincerely thanks every nurse at Genesys and the cancer center that cared for him and supported him. Â The depth of gratitude is beyond measure for the excellent care he received over the years from Dr. Gary King, Dr. Stuart Weiner, and Dr. Dong Whan Oh without whom, he would not have the quality of life he was able to achieve while ill. Â He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rochelle, three children, son Tyler Jaimes age 20, daughters Caitlin Sarah age 16, and Jillian Richelle age 8, sister Jennifer Molyneaux (Jack Hamilton), and mother-in-law Thelma Martin, Aunt Bonnie Cline, nephews Matt and David Ryan, many other relatives and friends and dog Cody.
