John Luke

LUKE, John Robert - age 60, of Fenton, died Thursday, February 22, 2018. A memorial service will be held 12 PM Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 12 PM Sunday at the funeral home. John was born June 25, 1957 in Flint, the son of Edwin and Nancy (Rollier) Luke. He married Heidi Rhoades on November 6, 1987. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting deer and morel mushrooms. He loved spending time on the beach and the woods in Northern Michigan. John was a Detroit Tigers fan and a devoted husband, father and son. Surviving are: wife, Heidi of Fenton; three children, Robert, Jacob and Allison Luke, all of Fenton; father, Edwin Luke of Grand Blanc; two brothers, Edwin M. Luke of Millington and William J. (Tammy) Luke of Swartz Creek; sister, Janine (Steven) Bair of Black River, MI. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Nancy and brother, Thomas A. Luke.
