LORD, John Dennis, Sr. - Age 59, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the John Dennis Lord, Sr. Memorial Fund. John was born December 10, 1950 in Flint, the son of Earl A. and Nadine L. (Petherbridge) Lord. He was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. He married Wanda King August 1, 1989 in Grand Blanc. John retired from GM Flint V-8 Engine Plant and was a member of U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are: wife, Wanda; 4 children, John Dennis Lord, Jr. and wife Betsy of Brighton, Brien Lord of Linden, Amber Lord of Grand Blanc and Cody Lord of Grand Blanc; 3 grandchildren, Emma, Madeline and Charlie; mother, Nadine Lord of Grand Blanc.
