LLOYD, John C. -- Age 69, of Corunna, passed away on October 6, 2017 at McLaren Flint. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday October 11, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Pastor Louis Canaday officiating. The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Tuesday and 11 AM until time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the family. John was born July 3, 1948 in Flint the son of Arthur E. and Marguerite (Schmidt) Lloyd. He graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1966. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1968-1970. He married Vicky Bark on June 20, 1970. John retired from Buick in 2004. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, family, and enjoyed camping. He is survived by his wife, Vicky; sons, John (Sherry) Lloyd of Swartz Creek, Thomas (Cari) Lloyd of Corunna; grand children, Joseph, Jacob, Peyton, and Sydney; siblings, Arthur (Karla) Lloyd, Linda (Bill) Phillips, and Michelle Martin; many nieces and nephews.
