John Robert LAWLER

LAWLER, John Robert, age 48, of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 1:00 p.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the John Lawler Children's Educational Fund. John was born November 3, 1961 the son of Dwight Russell and Jane Ann (Kuntz) Lawler. He was a 1979 graduate of Grand Blanc High School and worked for many years in the construction industry as a carpenter. John enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding Harley motorcycles. John was the "Favorite Uncle" to his nieces and nephews. He loved his children more than anything and will be remembered always for his cheerful disposition. Surviving are his two sons, Jonathan S. Lawler of Grand Blanc, Evan R. Lawler of Fenton; parents, Dwight and Jane Lawler of Grand Blanc; grandmother, Eleanor I. Kuntz of Flint; four brothers, Mark S. Lawler of Clio, David A. Lawler (Diane) of Grand Blanc, Alan R. Lawler of Muskegon, James R. Lawler of Lansing; two aunts, Yvonne Quinn of Alabama, Kathleen Dolan (Charles) of Clio. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clyde and Thelma Lawler, William G. Kuntz; two uncles Paul Kuntz and J.D. Quinn.
