John Lafeldt

LAFELDT, John Henry - Age 78, of Flint Twp., died Sunday, December 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 8, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 5PM- 8PM Thursday and 12 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. John was born in Alpena, MI on December 20, 1938, the son of the late William and Leora Virginia (Udell) Lafeldt, He married Gayle Ferguson on June 21, 1958 in Flushing. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and bird watching. He owned and operated John Lafeldt construction for 15 years and later went to work for HUD with 20 years of service. Surviving are: wife of 59 years, Gayle of Flint Twp.; children, John (Kathy) Lafeldt of FL, Terry (Susan) Lafeldt of Flint, Beth Lafeldt of Fiint; grandchildren, Chad (Julia) Lafeldt of NY, Mitchel Lafeldt of Flint; sister, Linda (Tim) Webb of Swartz Creek; brother, William Lafeldt of Lachine, MI and several nieces and nephews.
