John R. Klassen

KLASSEN, John R.  Age 56, of Linden, succumbed to ALS (Lou Gerhigs Disease) on November 17, 2004. A memorial service will be held in the Spring at Great Lakes National Cemetery. John was born February 14, 1948 in Muskegon, the son of Russell J. and Victoria A. (Matecun) Klassen. He was a graduate of Lake Fenton High School and Mott Community College. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. Mr. Klassen worked as a Senior Computer Assisted Designer, and was thought of as an expert in his craft. A beloved son and brother; he is survived by his parents, Russell Klassen and Victoria Knight of Linden; sisters Victoria Knight of Linden, Tamara Anttonen of Copper Canyon, TX; brother, David Klassen of Tampa, FL; children, Carrie Spaduzzi, Chat Klassen both of Georgia, Joelle of Michigan, Christopher Minder of Washington; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
