KHOURY, John I. - Age 56, of Durand, died April 28, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Rd., Flint. Rev. Fr. Joseph Abud will officiate. Burial will follow at Thetford Township Cemetery in Clio. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday, with a Trisagion service at 7 PM and from 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday at St. George Orthodox Church. John was born October 29, 1962 in Beit Sahour, Palestine, the son of Nakhleh and Miriam (David) Khoury. He loved sports and music. John is survived by his children, Nicole and Nakhleh Khoury; one granddaughter; father, Nakhleh Khoury; brother, Saba (Suzan) Khoury; sisters, Renee (Elias) Mitir, Jane (Issa) Abueita, and Samieh Emiah; many nieces and nephews.
