John Kenny

KENNY, John Paul - Age 86, of Detroit, died Monday, March 12, 2018. A gathering and prayers will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 10AM-12PM with a luncheon to follow at Bay Pointe Golf Club, 4001 Haggerty Rd. West Bloomfield. John's body has been donated to U of M Medical School. Funeral Mass and burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery will take place at a later date. John was born in Detroit on April 6, 1931 to Thomas and Geraldine (Paul) Kenny was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in Korea. He is survived by his wife Jean; children, Thomas (Kay) Kenny, Mary (Philip) Ewasyshyn, Daniel (Pamela) Kenny, Michael (Evelene) Kenny, Jack (Lisa) Kenny; 13 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Majorie Roesch. In Lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
